Metroid Dread
After successfully remaking Metroid 2 with Samus Returns in 2017, MercurySteam is back with Metroid Dread. Samus ventures to a new planet, ZDR, and contends with unstoppable robots named E.M.M.I. The iconic 2D side-scrolling gameplay is here mixed with some bits of stealth and the return of Free Aim and Melee Counter. The story also promises to conclude the story between Samus and the Metroids, though in what way is still unknown. Metroid Dread arrives on October 8th for the Switch.
