DriveClub Skipping Japan PS4 Launch Due to “Various Circumstances”

Here we go again.

51. Driveclub 4

Evolution Studios’ racing simulator DriveClub was delayed for North America and Europe from Q4 2013 for the launch of the PS4 to early 2014. The delays haven’t ceased yet though as the next-gen racer will also skip the launch of the PS4 in Japan on February 22nd. At least know we know it won’t be releasing any time before March this year. It’s a good thing that Polyphony Digital released Gran Turismo 6 this past December for PlayStation users then.

No reasons were given for the delay and Inside Games only reported about “various circumstances” for the decision. Could it be that further polish is needed? Improved servers and networking? Something else entirely?

Either way, DriveClub won’t be out any time soon for Europe, Japan or North America. What are your thoughts on the various delays and when do you think DriveClub will release this year? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
