Sweden based Gone North Games are working on ‘A Story About My Uncle’, a game that sees a boy who searches for his lost uncle. As one can expect, he ultimately lands up in an unknown world. The game takes the first person camera approach and honestly speaking it’s already looking gorgeous. Players can use several gadgets and will traverse across caves, to lost civilizations.
The grappling hook is considered as one of the major items that protagonist will have. “The movement in A Story About My Uncle is a crucial part of its core gameplay – focusing on swinging through the world with a grappling hook that gives the player a wonderful sense of speed and freedom. Soar through a game world with a unique art style and a mysterious story that unravels before you,” the developers explain.
What’s more? The game will be non-violent, which automatically means that you won’t be blowing away any heads here. The game will release on Steam on May 8th. We have the first screenshots from the game which you can check below.
