"All about the fixes this time around."

Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone

CD Projekt RED isn’t done fixing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt yet. Even with all the critical acclaim the open world RPG (and its first expansion Hearts of Stone) has received, it’s faced a number of different issues since its launch in May. The next big patch to arrive will be patch 1.12 and it’s coming in December according to community manager Marcin Momot on Twitter.

Of course, you shouldn’t expect any new features this time around. As Momot stated, “It’s all about the fixes this time around.”

That’s not necessarily a bad thing and it reflects the on-going work following the release of Hearts of Stone. It will be worth waiting for more details on Blood and Wine, the next major expansion for The Witcher 3 that will add 20 hours of gameplay and a new area.

What are your thoughts on the upcoming patch? Are there any long-standing issues you hope are corrected? Let us know in the comments and we’ll keep you updated as to when the patch goes live on consoles and PC.
