Guerrilla Games will have a new expansion for Horizon: Zero Dawn called The Frozen Wilds in the coming months but in the meantime, fans can download patch 1.30 right now which adds a few new features.

This includes New Game+ which allows players to start a new quest but while retaining the same character progression and inventory from your previous playthrough. Though the level cap is at 50, XP can still be earned. You can also pick up newer versions of current weapons and outfits which come with an additional mod slot. Of course, they’ll cost even more.

Ultra Hard has also been added as a new difficulty which improves the machines’ senses, limits health regeneration for Aloy and more. Be careful when selecting this difficulty as you won’t be able to choose a lower one down the line. If that’s not enough, there will be two new Trophies, the option to change Aloy’s focus and also don facepaint (seen above).
