Bethesda Softworks has dropped lots of information about Fallout 76, the online survival RPG, which lets players either cooperate or fight against other players in post-apocalyptic West Virginia, and its upcoming beta. While we know about its main quest, crafting, and even that the full game will be available in the beta, one question still remains: Just how long will the beta last?
A beta typically runs for a week or two at most, especially if it’s releasing one month before the full game. While Pete Hines, Bethesda senior VP of marketing, didn’t offer exact details on the beta’s length, he confirmed that there will be more details coming very soon. “We’ll have more information for you on that soon. Hopefully this week,” he stated on Twitter.
We’re also unsure of when exactly the beta will be starting. Though Bethesda has stated October as the target month (with the beta coming to Xbox One first), it also revealed that some users would be selected for a pre-beta. Everyone who pre-orders will get access regardless, so don’t worry.
Fallout 76 releases officially on November 14th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
we'll have more information for you on that soon. hopefully this week.
