Death Stranding’s recent new trailer was brimming with details, both large and small, and we’ve been poring over every second of it with great scrutiny. Sony and Hideo Kojima have been doing their part since the premier as well, revealing new information about everything from the game’s online elements to giving out tidbits about exploration, and a great deal more.
Now, Kojima has shared a couple more tweets to speak about some more details from his game. In his first tweet, he speaks about the sunglasses and hat we saw Norman Reedus’ character, Sam, wearing in a couple of scenes. Kojima confirms that players will be able to whip these out during gameplay at any time and wear them as their equipment. Since cutscenes will be rendered in-game, that means Sam will be wearing these in cutscenes if players had had them equipped as well. In a second tweet, meanwhile, Kojima confirms that the Japanese version of Death Stranding will contain both, English and Japanese audio options.
Death Stranding is out on November 8 for the PS4.
Cap and sunglasses can be worn at anytime you want as an equipment in the game. Like my other games, all the cutscenes are played in real-time rendering so if you’re wearing sunglasses in the game play, it will carry on to the cutscene except otherwise it’s too inappropriate👶 pic.twitter.com/9qISw8UmNk
