Fortnite x Mayhem

After teasing it earlier, Epic Games has confirmed that it’s collaborating with Gearbox Software to bring Borderlands to Fortnite Battle Royale. Dubbed Fortnite x Mayhem, the collaboration introduces a new Pandora Rift Zone to the Battle Royale map along with a new Psycho Bundle of cosmetics. Check out the trailer below.

The Psycho Bundle is essentially a skin of the famous Psycho Bandit with Claptrap as back-bling. Along with completing challenges for free rewards, players can also experiment with the Pandora Prefab in Creative Mode. While the mass-murdering landscape of Borderlands isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when discussing Fortnite, there has been a collaboration with John Wick. So there is that.

Of course, Epic Games and Gearbox Software are collaborating on more than just Fortnite x Mayhem. The latter’s hotly anticipated looter shooter Borderlands 3 releases on September 13th and will be a timed exclusive for the Epic Games Store on PC. It’s also coming to Xbox One and PS4 the same day so don’t fret.
