Marvel’s Avengers boasts a star-studded cast- Uncharted star Nolan North is in it as Tony Stark. Also joining him is fellow Uncharted star Troy Baker, who plays Bruce Banner, better known as Hulk. However, when the mild-mannered scientist turns into a big, green rage monster, it won’t be Troy Baker’s voice you’ll be hearing.
Through the game’s official Instagram page, the developer confirms that Troy Baker is only voicing Bruce Banner, and that three voice actors are collectively voicing Hulk. According to Baker, being able to focus just on Bruce Banner without having to concern himself with the Hulk allowed him to “explore him as a human and the weight he bears by being such a brutal force.” Check out the post below for more from Baker and how he approached playing this role.
Of late, Captain America is the Avenger that has been hogging most of the spotlight. In addition to an alternate costume, we also recently saw a profile video focused on him, while the developers also dropped some interesting details on how he functions during combat.
Marvel’s Avengers is out on May 15, 2020 for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
