The Division 2 - Episode 2

Ubisoft Massive has announced that The Division 2’s next story episode, Pentagon: The Last Castle, will be releasing on October 15th. That’s for Year 1 Pass holders – everyone else can play it on October 22nd. Check out the new story trailer below, which showcases the Black Tusk infiltrating the Pentagon and DARPA to obtain some powerful tech.

Sadly, it seems that the new raid will not be out next week, due to the developer needing more time for polish. As per a press release sent to PC Gamer, “The additional time allows the development team to focus on the overall quality of The Division 2, while developing a raid that will better meet the standards of its players.” Fortunately, you will get a new Specialization.

The Technician carries a missile launcher as its Signature weapon and can fire at six enemies at a time after locking on. It also possesses an EMP grenade for disrupting foes. Much like the Gunner specialization, the Technician will be unlocked right away for Year 1 Pass holders, while everyone else has to complete different objectives to use it. If all of this wasn’t enough, there’s a new Team Elimination mode coming.

It consists of a seven-round PvP battle – teams win rounds when their opposition has been eliminated or if time has expired. A new map set near a desolate fishing post on the harbor called Wharf is also being added. Stay tuned for more details on the DLC en route to its release next week.
