The results for the latest Famitsu most wanted games chart are in. Voting took place from October 24th to October 30 so a few recently released games still feature. Nevertheless, one game has found its way to the top again – Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7 Remake with 1,235 votes.

Announced at E3 2015, the remake is more than just the same game with better graphics. It offers a new real-time combat system (though a more conventional Tactical Mode is also available), new story sequences and events, and much more. The remake is currently exclusive to PS4 and, despite several mainline Final Fantasy titles coming to Xbox Game Pass next year, isn’t planned for other platforms.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake releases on March 3rd 2020. Check out Famitsu’s top ten most wanted games below. Interestingly, Project Sakura Wars is in second place with 1,021 votes while Animal Crossing: New Horizons is at fifth with 509 Votes. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel has 342 votes and Bayonetta 3, despite no new gameplay footage or trailer since its announcement, has 313 votes.
