The Last of Us Part 2

Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part 2 is currently in the home stretch of development and seems to be on track for release. In the meantime, a new clip has emerged via Monakatyusa on Twitter that showcases the gun customization menu in-game. More importantly, it features some incredible animations of Ellie handling and reloading weapons. Check it out below.

Some of the mods available include changing the barrel of the rifle to increase damage, increased magazine capacity and a higher magnification scope. You’ll still be using parts to upgrade weapons, which seems about expected. Still, the attention to detail is quite strong, even in something as straightforward as this.

The Last of Us Part 2 will release on May 29th for PS4 after initially being planned for this month. It will also be playable at PAX East 2020 later this month in an hour-long demo. Stay tuned for more details and impressions from the show, and potentially some new official gameplay footage.
