A couple days ago, DOOM Eternal’s Steam page was updated with minimum and recommended system specifications for the game’s PC version. The requirements were pretty demanding on all fronts, as expected, but they were promptly taken down, alluding to the fact that Bethesda and id Software were making some alterations that they’d reveal later. Those alterations have now been revealed.

Via the Slayers Club page, Bethesda have updated the system specs for DOOM Eternal on PC. Support for Windows 8.1 has been removed, support for several Nvidia GPUs has been added, and the resolution at low quality settings has been kicked up from 720p/60 FPS to 1080p/60 FPS. Meanwhile, support for additional 3GB and 4GB CPUs has also been added.

More meaty additions to the system specs come with the new high-tier “Ultra-Nightmare” settings. To run the game at either 2160p/60 FPS or 1440p/120 FPS, you’re going to need at least an Intel Core i9-9900K processor (or something better), along with an 11 GB GeForce RTX 2080Ti. Check out the full requirements below.

DOOM Eternal is out for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Stadia on March 20. DOOM 64 will also be out that day, and the system requirements for that have been revealed as well. Check those out through here.
