Ubisoft have finally unveiled the next Assassin’s Creed game, and true to all the leaks, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is indeed going to be a Vikings game. While we won’t be getting our first look at the gameplay until next week’s Xbox Series X event, we do have the CG reveal trailer to dive into. Recently, members of the game’s development team did just that.

In a video uploaded by Ubisoft, creative director Ashraf Ismail and narrative director Darby McDevitt did a blow-by-blow analysis of the trailer, talking about everything from the game’s combat, setting, and narrative to various mechanics, such as naval exploration, settlement exploration, and a lot more. There are plenty of details about the game in there, so give it a look below.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is out this Holiday for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Stadia. On PC, it will be skipping Steam. Meanwhile, on Xbox Series X, it will run at 4K and support Smart Delivery. You can check out more gameplay details through here, or gawk at some beautiful new screenshots through here.
