Horizon Forbidden West (2)

Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Forbidden West was unveiled yesterday and suffice to say that it was perhaps the highlight of the whole showcase. The improvements to texture quality, environmental detail and whatnot were simply incredible to behold. If you want a closer look at everything, then take a look at the new screenshots below.

These are stills from the trailer but that doesn’t discount the epic level of fidelity on display. We get a closer look at ruined locations like the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco and improvements to Aloy’s overall design. When compared side-by-side with the original, the difference in quality becomes all the more pronounced.

Horizon Forbidden West doesn’t have a release date but will be coming to PS5 at some point. There’s been no update on Horizon Zero Dawn – Complete Edition for PC but it’s still slated to release this Summer. Stay tuned for more details and information in the coming weeks.
