E3 2021 is right around the corner, and fans have already started receiving surprise trailers of hotly anticipated games, like Elden Ring at the Summer Game Fest. While there’s still a lot of ambiguity surrounding the Xbox + Bethesda showcase, Fallout 76 has recently been confirmed to be a part of the lineup.

Announced via a blog post on Fallout’s official website, Bethesda will be giving fans a glimpse of what the game has in store for the future at the Xbox E3 presser. Fallout 76 is going free-to-play on all platforms up until June 16, after which The Coming Storm in-game event is scheduled to go live. The Nuclear Winter battle royale mode will sadly be dropping support later this year in September.

Fallout 76 has had an interesting change of events, with multiple expansions and updates changing the course of a game many once thought to be doomed. It would certainly be great to see the future of the game in light of these changes, and a heavily rumored Starfield reveal makes the showcase worth a watch anyway.
