Update: In an official statement (via TechRaptor), CD Projekt RED has confirmed that the ad doesn’t refer to a new update. It noted that this campaign was a “reminder of patch 1.2” and that the title was available to purchase for PC and consoles. Any information on updates will be revealed via its own channels so only trust the official announcements.

Original Story:

It seems that CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 could finally be receiving some new content. Following comments from CD Projekt join CEO Adam Kiciński about performance reaching a “satisfying level,” DSO Gaming reported a new ad leaked via YouTube and Instagram. Check out the video below from Kazuliski to see it in action.

The video is relatively short and only notes that the title will be receiving its “biggest update to date” soon and there are “more things to come.” It’s worth noting that this update could be many things – a huge patch which adds numerous quality of life features and bug fixes, new content or even DLC content. We’ll have to wait for an official announcement from CD Projekt RED in the meantime.

Cyberpunk 2077 is currently available for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Google Stadia. After a troubled launch, it recently returned to the PlayStation Store (albeit with a warning not to play on base PS4) while Microsoft also recently ended its special refund policy for the game. CD Projekt RED is currently working on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S updates which are slated for release later this year so perhaps we’ll learn more about this in good time.
