With Far Cry 6 now less than a month away from launch, Ubisoft has kicked the game’s marketing into gear. Several new details about the game have been revealed in the last couple of weeks, most recently with a comprehensive overview trailer, not to mention roughly an hour of gameplay of the game’s Xbox Series X version being shown off. Now, another new trailer goes over what you should expect from Far Cry 6’s post-launch support.

There is, of course, the Season Pass, which has been briefly detailed before. It will consist of three DLC episodes coming in November, January, and March, named Insanity, Control, and Collapse respectively. These will allow you to play as previous Far Cry villains- Far Cry 3’s Vaas Montenegro, Far Cry 4’s Pagan Min, and Far Cry 5’s Joseph Seed. You will dive into the psyches of each antagonist in trippy scenarios, with each episode taking what looks to be a roguelike structure, with repeated runs, loot, progression, and more. Each episode will also player 2-player co-op. On top of that, the Season Pass will also include Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, along with Blood Dragon-themed gear for Far Cry 6’s base game.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft will also be releasing plenty of free content for the open world shooter after it has released. Notably, three crossover events with their own missions will be released for the game. The first will see protagonist Dani Rojas teaming up with actor Danny Trejo, playing himself. The next two will be crossovers with Rambo and Stranger Things, though details on these are scant right now.

There’s also six Special Operations, which will be missions set in new areas. Players will be tasked with stealing highly unstable chemical weapons from weapons dealers working for Anton Castillo and safely get to the extraction point. Two maps will be available at launch, with four more coming later. On top of that, every week following Far Cry 6’s launch, if you’ve finished the campaign, you’ll be able to track down and deal with new threats popping up all over Yara, which will reward you with new gear.

Ubisoft has also confirmed that all the free post-launch content will also support 2-player co-op.

Far Cry 6 recently wrapped up development, and launches for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia on October 7. If you play on playing the game on PC, head on over here for more details on PC-specific feature, and over here for the game’s system requirements.
