Despite an overwhelmingly negative user score on Metacritic and mixed critical reviews, Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo Immortal seems to be doing well financially. According to the data site AppMagic, it’s reportedly garnered over $24 million in revenue within the first two weeks of its release. GameDev Reports noted that revenue was split into $13 million for iOS and $11 million for Android.

About 43 percent of revenue apparently came from the United States, followed by 23 percent in South Korea. Japan made up eight percent of the spending, followed by Germany at six percent and Canada at three percent. In terms of downloads, the site notes over 8.5 million worldwide.

Officially, Blizzard noted over 10 million installs as of June 10th. While this could indicate a much larger mobile-to-PC split, downloads had reportedly peaked after the game’s release on June 2nd and declined on June 5th. Roughly 26 percent of total downloads were from the United States followed by South Korea at 11 percent. The overall number of installs on all platforms could now be higher than initially revealed by the developer.

Revenue figures haven’t been officially so we’ll likely have to wait until the next Activision-Blizzard fiscal report for more information. In the meantime, check out our review of Diablo Immortal for PC here.
