Star Ocean The Divine Force

Square Enix and tri-Ace have announced that Star Ocean: The Divine Force will launch worldwide on October 27th. It will be available for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC via Steam. Check out the newest trailer and gameplay from the Mission Report video below.

Standard and Digital Deluxe Editions have been confirmed. The latter includes the game, DLC and a digital soundtrack. A limited physical edition will also be available, costing 18,000 Yen in Japan. It includes the game, DLC, the limited-edition soundtrack, an art book, and two rubber key chains. Those who purchase the game early can also get an accessory set for use in the mini-game “Soar.”

These are essentially pawns themed after Lenneth and Lezard Valeth from Valkyrie Profile along with Jack Russell and Ridley Silverlake from Radiata Stories. We also see five new characters – Albaird Bergholm, Elena, Midas Felgreed, Nina Deforges and D.U.M.A. As for the battle system, it looks more fluid than in previous trailers with link combos, Stop Mode and other party members showcased.

Stay tuned for more details on the title in the meantime.
