Genshin Impact - Shikanoin Heizou

The newest update for miHoYo’s Genshin Impact, Version 2.8 “Summer Fantasia”, is now available on all platforms. It adds new events, quests, and much more along with a new character – Shikanoin Heizou of the Tenryou Commission. As a 4-star Anemo user who wields a Catalyst but relies on martial arts, he’s touted as the best “detective” in the organization.

A new Collective Miscellany trailer is available, outlining all of his abilities and passives. Heizou’s Normal Attack is a series of five strikes; the Charged Attack performs a sweeping kick, both dealing Anemo damage. “Heartstopper’ is his Elemental Skill which deals Anemo damage but the real power comes from charging it.

Doing so will add up to four Declension stacks to the target. Along with Heartstopper dealing more damage, it also creates the Conviction effect, which increases the AoE and power of the next Heartstopper Strike.

His Elemental Burst is “Windmuster Kick” which launches a Vacuum Slugger at opponents with a kick. The resulting windtunnel pulls in nearby foes, dealing Anemo damage. If they’re affected by Hydro, Cryo, Electro and Pyro, Windmuster Iris is afflicted which then explodes and deals AoE damage of the respective elemental type.

In terms of passives, the first Ascension Passive is “Paradoxical Practice.” It causes Heizou to gain a Declension Stack every 0.1 seconds when a Swirl effect is activated. “Penetrative Reasoning” is the fourth Ascension Passive, increasing the Elemental Mastery of all other party members by 80 for 10 seconds when Heartstopper hits an enemy. Finally, his Utility Passive reduces Stamina consumption for sprinting by 20 percent for the party.

Stay tuned for full patch notes of Version 2.8 in the meantime. You can also check out the latest teasers for Sumeru and the Fatui Harbingers here.
