Following a short delay, Player First Games has announced a new start date for MultiVersus Season 1. It launches on August 15th with the new Battle Pass available for 950 Gleamium and offers 50 tiers of rewards. The newest playable character Morty from Rick and Morty will be available on August 23rd.

The developer also revealed that not all content for Season 1 would release on the same day. “New modes and content will be spread through the life of the Season. We’ll continue to share dates on all the fun things to come!” It previously confirmed that Ranked Battle and Arcade Mode would be available in Season 1 in addition to new cosmetics (including a Robin skin for LeBron James and Valkyrie skin for Bugs Bunny).

Balance changes are also coming with Bugs Bunny receiving a nerf and Wonder Woman getting some buffs. Rick is also confirmed to join the roster later on in the season. Stay tuned for more details and patch notes in the coming days. MultiVersus is currently available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC.
