Resident Evil 4 Remake is out now, and like the original game, it delivers a densely packed rollercoaster ride of action and horror. And though its not lacking in content even at launch by any means, Capcom seems to have plans to add plenty more to it going forward. Fan-favourite mode The Mercenaries will be added as free DLC on April 7, while exclusive PlayStation VR2 content is also in the works. In addition to that, fans might also have a new campaign to look forward to.
Recent leaks have claimed that Capcom is planning on releasing the Ada Wong-focused campaign, Separate Ways, as paid DLC for the remake down the road, and new evidence has surfaced that suggests the same. As discovered by dataminer Gosetsu (via Resident Evil Central on Twitter), there are files in the Resident Evil 4 remake dubbed “Another Order”- which, of course, is the name that Separate Ways was known by in Japan when it first launched as part of the original RE4’s PS2 version.
What lends further credence to this is the fact that files can also be found for the Chainsaw Demo, which launched shortly before the remake’s full release, and The Mercenaries, which, as mentioned above, will be added to the remake soon.
That the Ada Wong-focused campaign will, at some point or another, be added to the game has been speculated frequently, though Capcom has yet to make any official statements regarding the same. Hopefully, that will change in the not-too-distant future.
Resident Evil 4 Remake is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PC. Read our review of the game through here.
Thanks to Gosetsu from the RE Wiki Discord, they managed to datamine Resident Evil 4 Remake and find evidence that "The Another Order", otherwise known as "Separate Ways" exists in the files.
