While Death Stranding 2: On the Beach just got a new trailer showcasing some of its characters, Hideo Kojima has taken to X (formerly Twitter) to reveal that there are many more characters that will be in the upcoming sequel that haven’t been announced yet.
“These are the characters we can announce this time,” said Kojima in the tweet. “There are many more characters that have not yet been announced. We finally revealed the character of Elle Fanning, what do you think of her character? and what do you think of the ‘Troy’ who came back?”
The latest trailer for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach showcased some new story details, along with giving us a glimpse at the game’s gameplay improvements, among other things. The trailer also revealed that Death Stranding 2 On the Beach is headed for a 2025 launch window, and will be coming to PS5.
