Almost two weeks later, Crimson Desert has received its newest update. But before you go expecting a lot, the only major addition is cross-save across consoles and PC. This will track your progress regardless of platform or storefront, so good news for PC players on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Of course, as with every other game, signing into a Pearl Abyss ID account and then linking the aforementioned platforms is necessary.
Otherwise, patch 1.14.00 offers various fixes, including for issues like “A Dwarf’s Concern” not completing or not being able to control your character if you were interacting with a pet while it jumped on the bed. Damiane’s Skystep now has the same input as Oongka’s Vertical Flight, which means less time taken to adjust when swapping characters. Furthermore, you should be able to use Aerial Force Palm without interruptions when free-falling, as intended. Check out the full patch notes below for more details.
While the lack of new content or gameplay features is a bummer, Pearl Abyss’s current “roadmap” for Crimson Desert extends to September, so expect something substantial soon. It’s also working on DLC, which promises to deliver something different from the many, many updates.
There’s also work underway on a potential Nintendo Switch 2 port, though it’s far from official. Head here for more details.
