Mega Man: Dual Override continues to pique our interest every time we hear anything about it, and the latest trailer it dropped at Gamescom 2026 has done a lot more than catch our attention.
It isn’t too surprising, given how the game’s art style and vibrant colors are kind of designed to please the eye while its platforming gameplay challenges your hands and reflexes with enemies, levels, and challenges that are sure to test your skills to the max. Of course, we can’t wait to see what the winning entry on that design contest accompanying the game’s announcement looks like, but we might have to wait a while for the final game before that happens.
As for when we could get to play this one, there’s nothing new to tell apart from that previously announced and all-too-wide 2027 release window. We’d have liked to have narrowed it down, and perhaps even see more of the story that’s coming, but we guess that’s on the back burner waiting for future trailers. It was nice to see Twinkle Girl in action, though, and she’s as fiesty as ever. The new trailer’s below if you’re curious about why we’re saying that.
