Rockstar Games finally showcased gameplay for Grand Theft Auto 6 via the Extended Look on Netflix. It starts with Jason and Lucia venturing to a club to pick up some “bricks” for Boobie Ike. After making it past security, they access the upstairs, where a drug lab is set up.
After greeting a dog and arguing over why Boobie himself didn’t show up, it’s revealed that Vice City PD is on the way. What seems like a bust turns into a violent shootout as officers shoot first, even at those surrendering. Naturally, Jason isn’t keen on ending up on a slab and fires back, which is where we see the gunplay in action.
He asks Lucia to push up and cover him right after a gang member picks up an officer and takes them through a wall. The duo proceed down the hallway, picking up threats, who react very realistically when shot. We can even see a slow-mo shot of someone’s face taking a shotgun shell, seemingly chipping their teeth in the process.
Jason and Lucia narrowly escape, dropping out of a window, after which it seemingly transitions to Lucia. Whether this is a story mission or just a regular activity, it’s certainly intense. Stay tuned for more updates on the Netflix reveal as it proceeds.
