After announcing a March 2027 release window for 007 First Light on Nintendo Switch 2, IO Interactive has narrowed it to a specific date: March 18th. Ironically, that’s a little over a week after all versions were meant to release, but better late than never. Check out the latest trailer (courtesy of IGN) below.
Switch 2 players will receive all the Deluxe Edition content, including four exclusive suits, the Gleaming Pack with four gadget skins, and the Agent’s Mark weapon skin. But perhaps the biggest appeal for pre-orders is the iconic suit from GoldenEye. It’s simple, but you can’t argue with the sleek appearance (and how well it fits IOI’s Bond).
Overall, 007 First Light seems to be shaping up well on Switch 2, with the team making minimal sacrifices to performance and detail (though the resolution has clearly taken a hit). Stay tuned for more details on its other features in the coming months.
In the meantime, you can check out the latest update for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It’s the biggest yet, adding New Game+, 00 Difficulty, two new TacSim missions, new weapons, Photo Mode, and more. There’s more content inbound, including a new story mission featuring the return of Bawma, though a release date has yet to be announced.
