Fortnite Season 9

After a vault opened and a volcano erupted in Fortnite, players have been teased with the impending arrival of Season 9. The futuristic teases have turned out to be true – new locations are available on the map, including Nugget Hut and Neo Tilted. Check out the cinematic trailer below (which features a rather unsettling fate for Peely).

One of the other new features is the Slipstream wind transport system, which allows players to traverse through rings while flying in the air. Of course, it wouldn’t be a new season without a new Battle Pass. More than 100 new rewards are available to unlock for 950 V-Bucks, including the Sentinel Outfit and Rox progressive Outfit.

Other rewards include a robo cat pet, the Vendetta Outfit, and something called Fortbyte. The last one involves collecting items throughout the Battle Royale map to uncover the “mystery” of this latest season. Check out both trailers below, and as usual, get to grinding.
