As the long-awaited return of a beloved strategy franchise, Age of Empires 4 is going to have high expectations to live up to, and thankfully, all that we’ve seen of the game so far has suggested that it’s going to be a worthy follow-up to its excellent predecessors. Recently, the folks at Relic Entertainment showcased another full multiplayer match, as they have done before, showing off plenty of new gameplay footage.
The match focuses on two civilizations going head-to-head against each other- the French and the Chinese, which, of course, means there’s a lot to dive into for each civilization in terms of their units and buildings and unique attributes. Meanwhile, the map showcased during the map is Mongolian Heights, which features a river running through its middle. Check out the full match below.
Age of Empires 4 is out in just ten days, on October 28, exclusively for PC. It will, of course, also be available via Xbox Game Pass at launch.
