BioWare’s Chad Robertson also reveals fixes that will be coming to the full game.
If you haven’t heard or aren’t tired of being reminded, BioWare’s Anthem had quite the troubling VIP access demo weekend. Though several issues were sorted out by Saturday, players did continue experiencing annoyances like the infinite loading screen bug, rubber-banding, and whatnot. With the public demo coming up on February 1st, BioWare’s head of live service Chad Robertson has outlined a couple of fixes that were coming.
“We’ve got a long list of things that were addressed during the weekend, or are being addressed for next weekend’s public demo,” said Robertson. The issues in question include:
There are even more fixes coming to the full game. Unfortunately, you won’t be seeing these in the upcoming public demo. Such fixes include:
Robertson also noted that players had clocked in almost 9 million hours of game time over 2.5 days of the VIP access demo being live. Anthem will be releasing on February 22nd for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. BioWare already has some post-launch content in the works, which might include a new region to explore. Stay tuned for more details.
