Team Asobi’s Astro Bot is getting a new free level on December 12th at 6 PM PT to celebrate Christmas. It’s only available after finishing the base game and offers “shiny presents” and new VIP Bots to discover. Since it’s for “children and adults alike,” it won’t be challenging.
Whether this is the end of post-launch support for Astro Bot or not, the developer thanked fans for joining them on its journey while teasing a “next time.” Based on pre-release previews, the critically acclaimed 3D platformer will reportedly receive at least 15 free additional levels. Thus far, Team Asobi has added five new Speedrun Challenge stages and ten VIP Bots to the title.
