One of the first PlayStation 3 games that showed its mettle as far as technicalities are concerned, Heavenly Sword felt like a Hollywood action move. Yes, it was too short, but a Metacritic score of only 79 was too low. The game had some excellent combat moves, nail biting moments and perhaps the best use of the Six Axis controller ever.

According to me Flower is not a game, it’s an experience that you should feel and see. Flower was an innocent, sweet and a brave game by the talented team at thatgamecompany, who I think were aware that the game will not appeal to everyone. Flower is one such game that does not requires sales figure to prove its quality. The game won the “Casual Game of the Year” by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences.
