Gearbox Software’s Borderlands 3 will be present at today’s Gamescom Opening Night Live show with details on its end-game to be revealed. Before that, the developer has compiled a handy video goes over all of the looter shooter’s features. The different Vault Hunters, their skills, story and much more can all be gleaned below.
Borderlands 3 is the much-awaited follow-up in the looter shooter series. Featuring new foes like the Calypso Twins and their Children of the Vault cult, players will travel beyond Pandora to investigate the Vaults on other planets. These include the high-tech Promethea, home to the Atlas Corporation, and Eden-6, a swampy world where the Jakobs clan resides.
Borderlands 3 releases on September 13th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. More content will also be coming post-launch in the form of raids and paid expansions. The latter is especially interesting because there will be weirder, “more focused” stories compared to the main epic story. Stay tuned for more details on the same in the coming months.
