Call of Duty 2018 Aiming To Have High Quality Lighting

Treyarch posts new job listing.

For the past couple of weeks, we’ve been bringing you reports on Treyarch, and how they’ve been looking to hire new people to work on the next Call of Duty game. We have something similar for you today- Treyarch have once more posted an ad for a job opening that might give us a hint about the next Call of Duty title.

As per this new job ad posted on Activision’s official website, Treyarch are looking to hire a senior lighting artist, whose main focus will supposedly be on “lighting character and environments” for “a AAA title”. “The ideal candidate will be able to show good examples of lighting made for games, preferably current generation consoles,” reads the job ad.

Of course, it doesn’t explicitly say they’re working on Call of Duty, but given Activision’s alternating three year cycle between developers Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games, and Treyarch, it wouldn’t take a genius to figure out what game the studio is working on right now.

Stay tuned to GamingBolt, and we’ll keep you updated on any new info that comes our way.
