Remedy Entertainment has released a new trailer for Control, teasing the game’s appearance at E3 2019. Check it out below – it’s full of more NPCs and their reactions to the supernatural force Hiss. Spoilers: they really don’t think it should be leaving The Oldest House.

Control is about Jesse Faden, who’s possessed supernatural abilities since a traumatic incident in her childhood. Upon arriving at the Federal Bureau of Control’s HQ “The Oldest House,” a mysterious force named Hiss invades. People turn against each other, and it’s ultimately up to Jesse to take up the former director’s mantle and sidearm to defeat the Hiss.

There’s a more Metroidvania-like sense of exploration here than in Remedy’s previous games, which makes exploring the trippy environments all the more interesting. Control will release on August 27th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The PC version is exclusive to the Epic Games Store, and some of its post-launch content is timed-exclusive to PS4 (but not for very long).
