Continuing its series that explains the premise of Control, Remedy Entertainment has released a new trailer highlighting the combat. As Jesse Faden, players take up the Service Weapon and become the new director of the Federal Bureau of Control. Check out some ways the shape-shifting weapon works in the trailer below.

Along with firing explosive shots, the Service Weapon is capable of shooting shotgun-like spreads as well. It can also function as a submachine gun for burst damage up close. Jesse has other abilities to help her out though, like telekinesis. This allows for grabbing rubble and holding as a shield in front of her or chucking it at enemies.

Control is out on August 27th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC with the PC version exclusive to the Epic Games Store. Check out the previous trailer which focused on the mysterious Hiss that’s taken over the Bureau’s headquarters. You can also watch the last story trailer which sees a stranger talking about their dreams of The Hiss.
