Microsoft announced that the Xbox One will support not just the latest release of DirectX 11.1 but further releases beyond that. The company also revealed that the console’s is essentially one big chip, built using a 28 nm process by TSMC and which measures a sizable 363 mm sq. This created concerns over the Xbox One being susceptible to over-heating as usual. More information about Kinect was also revealed, including how it could track heartbeats.
