Crimson Desert Update Buffs Camp Funds From Silver, Adds New Dispatch Mission, and More

Retrying horse-riding quests should also be easier, since your mount will now recover health, among various other fixes.

Crimson Desert_04

A new patch is live for Pearl Abyss’s Crimson Desert, but in case you didn’t get the memo, it’s not on the scale of the recent Enhanced Update. Or really any of the others that added new content and features. Instead, Version 2.01.00 focuses purely on fixes and improvements, because when an update retools and improves the entire story, bugs are inevitable.

Some fixes include furniture spawning without any house present at the Greymane Camp. “The Cursed Knight” quest previously couldn’t be completed, even after going through all the sub-quests, but that’s since been addressed. If you accidentally summoned other mounts when you meant to bring in Blackstar, it shouldn’t be an issue anymore.

Of course, this is Pearl Abyss, and so it probably can’t resist a few new additions and quality-of-life improvements. For instance, Silver now contributes ten times the Camp Funds when donated. You can also send Greymanes off on a Gold Bar Investment Mission. Photo Mode is also improved to allow camera tilting, and your horse should now recover health when retrying the horse-riding quests.

Check out some of the fixes below and full notes here. Those hungering for new content won’t have to wait long, as the first paid DLC, Charting the Unknown, launches on October 15th.
