SIE Bend Studio have been regularly releasing new updates for their open world title Days Gone, but obviously, they’ve got other, bigger projects in the pipeline as well. While it’s going to be a while yet before we find out what their next game is and when it’ll be out – given how recently Days Gone released – we do know for sure that it’s in development.

That’s according to the LinkedIn profile of Jeremy Vickery, the senior staff lighting artist at SIE Bend. The “experience” section of Vickery’s page mentions that he is currently “involved in preproduction planning for our next title.”

Given how well Days Gone has sold for Sony in spite of less-than-stellar reviews, it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to assume that Bend’s at work on a sequel. Similarly, given the PS5’s looming Holiday 2020 launch, it would also stand to reason that their next game is coming out on next-gen platforms.

Recently, Bend was hiring for its next big project, but interestingly enough, those job ads mentioned PS4 as the platforming they were developing for. Read more on that through here.
