Dead Cells: The Bad Seed DLC Trailer Showcases New Weapons and Foes

Motion Twin and Evil Empire have released a new gameplay trailer for Dead Cells: The Bad Seed, the upcoming paid DLC for the roguelite action platformer. It showcases the two new biomes, new foes, environmental traps and much more. The development team also confirmed the February 11th release date which appeared recently on the Microsoft Store.

Some of the new weapons include the massive scythe teased till now, a katana and what seems to be a lute. The Beheaded also gets some new tools to play around with, like a smoke bomb that seemingly renders him invisible. He’ll need all the help he can get, especially when Mama Tick awaits in the Heart of the Swamp.

Dead Cells: The Bad Seed retails for $4.99 and is meant to help fund further development for the title. So if you’re keen on more future content and free updates, then it might be worth checking out. Stay tuned for more details on the DLC’s release for PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
