Dead Island 2 Expansion Pass owners take note – the Red’s Demise Katana is now available. It temporarily boosts damage for each kill, turning players into a whirlwind of doom. This is all good, but what about the Expansion Pass’s other content?
Though Dambuster Studios and Deep Silver haven’t officially outlined it, eagle-eyed players noticed an update to its listing on the Xbox Store. It revealed two new chapters for the main story coming “after release.” They will feature new missions, abilities, weapons, enemies and areas within HELL-A to explore.
Gold Edition owners will already have the Expansion Pass, but it’s available standalone for $29.99. Again, further details have yet to be revealed, including a release date for the new content, so stay tuned.
Dead Island 2 is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. You can read our official review for more details. It sold over one million units in its first three days of launch.
