Death Stranding 2 On the Beach

Over a month before its release on PS5, Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has gone gold. Though principle development has wrapped, the studio is likely working on a day one patch for further polish.

As a sequel to the acclaimed 2019 action adventure, Death Stranding 2 follows Sam Porter Bridges in Mexico 11 months later. After taking on a request from Fragile and becoming involved in an incident, he works with the organization Drawbridge and ventures to reconnect Australia.

Of course, there are several other mysteries to resolve, such as the reappearance of Higgs and the Red Samurai. The sequel offers many new gameplay features, like Proficiencies mastered through repeated actions and Traits allotted by consuming Memories. There are also new weapons like the Electric Rod and more ways to be sneaky.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach launches on June 26th for PS5 with Digital Deluxe Edition owners receiving early access on June 24th. Check out some more gameplay and stay tuned for further details until then.
