Much has been made about how hands-on Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima is with his projects. Even if the man didn’t involve himself in every aspect of game development, he’s usually in charge of editing the launch trailer. So it is the case with Death Stranding, Kojima Productions’ next action adventure due to release next month.

On Twitter, Kojima revealed that the launch trailer would be the final video for the title before release. Along with revealing his role in editing the trailer, he noted that launch trailers are usually outsourced to directors to make it full CG or live action. Of course, that’s not quite Kojima’s style.

When exactly the launch trailer will land remains to be seen but you can expect it a few days before the title launches. Death Stranding arrives on November 8th for PlayStation 4. An album with music inspired by the game, called Timefall, is also inbound. Check out the first song here.
