Destiny 2 - Season of the Seraph

Year 6 of Destiny 2 kicks off with the release of Lightfall, and as is tradition, content from Year 5 is going into the Destiny Content Vault. Wings of the H.E.L.M. for the Crown of Sorrow and Rasputin Exo Frame, the Psisorium, Warmind Launch Facility, Derelict Leviathan and Last City: Eliksni Quarter are going away. Seasonal story missions Season of the Risen, Season of the Haunted, Season of Plunder and Season of the Seraph will also exit.

You won’t have access to activities like Nightmare Containment, Ketchcrash, Expeditions, Hideouts, Operation Missions and Sever Missions. Exotics like Dead Messenger and Revision Zero won’t be obtainable through their respective Exotics quests since those are going away. Say goodbye to vendors like Spider, Crown of Sorrow, the Star Chart and the Exo Frame.

If that weren’t enough, all Bounties, Missions and Quests from Year 5’s seasons are also being removed. Ritual and Pinnacle Weapon Quests and Ornaments are included, though you can still access them from the Monument to Lost Lights Exotic Archive. Risen Umbral Energy, Vestiges of Dread, Figments of Darkness, Opulent Umbral Energy and many more items will also be gone. Check out the full list here.

Destiny 2: Lightfall goes live on February 28th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. According to Sony, pre-orders are “steadily increasing” near launch. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
