Deus Ex 4: 10 Things We Want To See

More influential dialogue choices

Human Revolution wasn’t so much about dialogue choices as it was about open ended and choice based gameplay. But still, it would have been better if the dialogue choices had a larger impact on the game and its story. It’s not that they had no impact at all- no, sometimes, the dialogue choices were influential enough to rival the likes of Mass Effect. But that was not always the case. Along with the open ended gameplay that we all loved in Human Revolution, we want Deus Ex 4 to have more impactful dialogue choices as well.

No more glitches, please

Sure, we got a great kick out of the glitches in Human Revolution, but I don’t think Eidos Montreal put them there intentionally. Certainly not that one in the video above. It seemed very jarring, to see such mind boggling glitches in an otherwise high quality game. Sure, they were mostly aesthetic and didn’t hamper the gameplay much, but they did bring down the experience a notch or two overall. It would be great if Eidos Montreal spent just a little more time rooting out the bugs in Deus Ex 4.

More awesome augmentations

The augmentations were one of the best features that Deus Ex: Human Revolution offered, and they made gameplay a hell lot of fun. From simple augs that gave us the ability to see through walls and become invisible to the more complex ones which allowed us to punch through walls, jump from high structures and land safely, shoot enemies in a specific radius with deadly bullets and much more, the augmentations in Human Revolution were pure genius, and it was clear that a lot of thought and time was put into developing them. All we want is for Eidos Montreal to implement more such imaginative and awesome augmentations in Deus Ex 4, while retaining several from Human Revolution (Icarus Landing System, please!).
