Devil May Cry 5 (10)

Capcom’s Devil May Cry 5 will be out on March 8th 2019 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The surprisingly close release date doesn’t come as much of a surprise, since Capcom have gone on record in the past to state that the game’s development is very close to completion. Director Hideaki Itsuno was on hand at Microsoft’s Xbox Inside show at Gamescom 2018 to debut a new trailer, and also talk about various aspects of the gameplay. Check it out below.

Along with having access to several different kinds of Devilbreaker arms, each with their own unique abilities (like stopping time), Nero will also have the ability to grapple around. There are numerous combos and attacks, as expected from a Devil May Cry title, and chaining these together will help build up one’s combo meter.

The developer also revealed that Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition would be available for Xbox Game Pass, helping Xbox One players prepare for the sequel.  More information about Dante (who can also be seen in the trailer) in the upcoming sequel will also be revealed at Tokyo Game Show 2018. What about the mysterious third character V, though? We may have to wait slightly longer for more details on that.
