It’s not easy being a smoldering, silent Slayer in a universe full of evil, but DOOM Eternal makes it look like a blast. id Software has released the launch trailer for the highly anticipated shooter, showcasing the Slayer as a dominant force ready to raze the armies of Hell. Check it out below.

A quick burst of moments but plenty is familiar, including the Glory Kills, enemies being weak to certain weapons, new Weapon Mods, and much more. The Marauder is even seen briefly, though it seems the Slayer had the upper hand in their duel. id Software estimates the entire campaign to be over 22 hours long, and that’s not accounting for Master Levels, which remix the story missions.

DOOM Eternal releases on March 20th for Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Google Stadia (though not in true 4K as promised earlier). Check out some of the alternative costumes that the Slayer can rock, including unicorn armor with wings. For updated PC requirements, head here.
