Capcom has announced a Dragon’s Dogma 2 Showcase for November 28th at 1 PM PT. It will air on YouTube and Twitch and feature 15 minutes of new gameplay and information with director Hideaki Itsuno and producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi. Check out the brief teaser below.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 was announced in June 2022 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC, over a decade after the first game was released. It’s developed on the RE Engine and set in a world four times the size of the original. Thus far, the development team has showcased exploration (with no loading screens), boss battles against creatures like the Griffin, Vocations and other new features.

Itsuno has also spoken about how the game takes inspiration from Grand Theft Auto 5’s emergent world and that some gameplay can feel like “scripted events.” With the action RPG recently rated in Saudi Arabia, the showcase could announce a release date on top of other new details. Stay tuned for updates in the meantime.
