With Dying Light: Platinum Edition being listed on the Microsoft Store for release on May 27th, one would think that’s all that Techland has in store. But apparently there’s more. Over the past few days, Techland has updating a video clip on Twitter which could be a tease for an upcoming Dying Light 2 announcement.

The clip is of a wall with the words “Save the City” spray-painted on. However, at night, some flashing UV light reveals a different message which currently reads, “Are you dying 2 know.” Each day sees another word added to the second sentence and it’s hard not to see it as a count-down of sorts.

Dying Light 2 is in development for Xbox One, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5. The main story is touted to be 40 to 60 hours long with the story taking roughly 20 hours to complete. It will have a “lot more” open world events compared to its predecessor with new locations to explore like GRE Quarantines. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days.
